‘Bit Map’ Wins


Best Editing

Bit Map, a short film directed by Aidan Gibson, won the award for Best Editing last weekend at the 5th annual Limerick Film Festival.

The 3-minute short, set on the campus of Trinity College Dublin, was made as part of a 48 hour film challenge held at the Digital Biscuit event last year. Filmmakers were set the task of making a short film under the theme of ‘Love & Technology.

Editor, Gary Flaherty, took home the Best Editing award for his work on the film. Gary also won the award at last years Limerick Film Festival (formerly LIT Film Festival) for editing Window a short film directed by Dave Thorpe.
