CODA wins Most Creative Short
Edinburgh Short Film Festival
Coda, an Irish animated short film funded by the Irish Film Board, RTÉ and the Arts Council under the Frameworks scheme, has won the award for Most Creative Short Film at Edinburgh Short Film Festival.
Following on from a win at SXSW earlier in the year, the hand-drawn film is fast becoming a festival favourite with upcoming screenings at Anima Mundi (Brazil), Seoul Cartoon & Animation (South Korea) and Odense (Denmark) Film Festivals among many others.
Directed by Alan Holly and produced by Ciarán Deeney, the film tells the story of a lost soul who stumbles drunkenly through the city. In a park, death finds him and shows him many things.
The film will also screen in the Irish Film Institute with feature documentary Finding Vivian Maier from the 18th of July.
