First International Film Conference

“Hitchcock’s Vertigo: The Greatest Film Ever Made?” to be held on Thursday 14 September in Dublin.

This exclusive 1-day Hitchcock film conference will feature the presentations of many the world’s leading writers of Alfred Hitchcock from Canada, USA and UK, and most importantly the conference includes several talks exploring Bernard Herrmann’s beautifully mesmerising string-dominated film music for Vertigo, with overtones of Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde, now recognized as the cinema’s greatest film music.

The conference concludes with a cinema screening of the 1958 Hollywood classic film Vertigo starring James Stewart and Kim Novak in the Lighthouse Cinema Dublin.
