The 70th birthday of Gram Parsons will be celebrated across the globe with celebration gigs and events. Many of his loyal fans have been running gigs in his honor every year, and asking people to sign the online petition to have him inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame. Gram Parsons possessed an amazing talent for the American sound crossing pure country with soul, rhythm and blues and folk. He led the Byrds to create their Cosmic American sound producing the first country rock album “Sweethearts of the Rodeo”( Columbia records 1968). His music is a unique blend of many genres and styles with his own personal twang. This is a must for Gram Parsons fans, as this event is to raise awareness to have Gram inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame.
