Venue Manager Vacancy at Filmbase

(Maternity Cover, mid-April 2009 until mid-January 2010)

The Venue Manager is responsible for the smooth running of all operations in the Curved Street Building, a busy cultural centre in the heart of Temple Bar. The candidate for this position will be required to:

- manage all venue bookings
- oversee a venue staff of 4-5 (permanent and casual staff)
- supervise all building maintenance
- ensure that all spaces are in top condition for rental
- liaise with other tenants as necessary
- look after all administrative & financial issues surrounding the space

Ideally, the candidate will also have marketing and project management experience and knowledge of the Irish film/arts community is a distinct advantage.
