International Screenwriters’ Workshop & Masterclasses

éQuinoxe Germany has announced that they will be holding their International Screenwriters’ Workshop & Masterclasses from the 8th to the 17th of October 2009 in Germany.

The International Screenwriters’ Workshops are geared towards writers with experience who have had a script produced and less towards writers at the beginning of their career. The workshops deal with
screenplays for the cinema. Scripts should be at an advanced stage of development in order to get the
full advantage out of the one-on-one meetings with the advisors.

Submission Deadline: 29th May 2009
• EU/EEC Writers who have had at least one script produced are eligible to apply
• Screenplays for cinema may be submitted beginning immediately (1. Drafts are not accepted)
• There are no fees for the selection process
• Scripts may be submitted in German or English
• If your project is pre-selected, you will be asked to provide an English translation for the international jury selection
• If your project is invited, the workshop assumes travel, food and lodging for the writers

The international jury selection will be mid-August.

The workshops are held in the English language.
