‘For The Love Of Live’ opens at Filmbase Wed 4th Nov

Venue: Filmbase, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
Exhibition duration: 4th – 7th November 2009
Opening Times: Weekdays: 9.30am – 8pm // Saturday: 11.30am – 5.30pm // Sunday: 12pm – 5.30pm

For The Love Of Live brings the artist’s studio and its workings LIVE to the public for one night only.

FTLO selected nine creatives, who responded to an open submission brief issued nationwide. Each creative is to create a one-off piece of work live on the opening night here in Filmbase, turning the venue into a live studio. Each creative will have a limited time to make a completely original piece which will then be on sale on the night.

For The Love Of Live is a unique opportunity to meet and speak to the creatives about their work and the process of making it.

FTLO also offered Director Duncan Molloy an opportunity to showcase his fantastic original play Storybook which will be performed on the opening night. Live music comes from musician and DJ extraordinaire Ruairí Lynch on the night.
