Screen hearts 90s presents ‘Terminator 2′
Following the phenomenal success of Screen hearts 80’s season, which saw queues around the block, sold out screens and delighted audiences begging for more, the Screen Cinema is delighted to announce the Screen hearts 90’s.
Opening the season on September 20th; He said he’d be back, and he is! Arnie returns to save the Connors once again in the fan favourite Terminator film, Terminator 2. This time the evil Skynet has sent T-1000, a shape-shifting Terminator, back in time to destroy humanities’ last hope for survival. This epic sequel will definitely ‘reacquire’ you! Expect special guests and surprises on the night courtesy of our friends at Robosteel.
The Screen hearts 90’s schedule will be unveiled on the night and run until mid December.
However not wanting to leave the 80’s completely the Screen Cinema has announced a second season of 80’s films in conjunction with Phantom 105.2’s Cinerama. The vote has been handed over to you, so from September 3rd Cinerama host Gavin Burke will be giving listeners a choice of 80’s genre films which can be voted for online on www.phantom.ie (everyone who votes will be entered into a draw to win free tickets).
Listeners can choose their favourite 80’s action, sci fi, comedy, horror and romance films and then watch the winning movie in the Screen Cinema just weeks later.
Tune in to Cinerama, Phantom 105.2’s movie show from 7-8pm every Friday for Screen hearts 80’s listeners poll, all the latest movie reviews, a showcase of cult film, upcoming movies on TV and DVD giveaway’s.
