Irish screenwriter Martin Mc Cann wins international awards for screenplay
Irish Screenwriter and Filmbase member Martin Mc Cann’s screenplay “Don Eugenio” was nominated in two categories in the Written Word Writing Awards at the 2010 Action on Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, Los Angeles, California 23rd - 30th July 2010.
1. Best Period Piece.
2. Best Script.
Martin traveled to the AOF Festival and was honoured to win both nominations.
A reading of a scene from “Don Eugenio” was shown in the Regency Academy Theater in Pasadena on Sat 24th July followed by a question and answer session with the writer.
