RTE Drama call for new TV dramas and features for next BAI round

TV DRAMAS & FEATURE FILMS FOR THE BAI
RTÉ Drama will review TV dramas and feature films that have a resonance for an RTÉ ONE audience for the BAI round closing 5th November 2010. At the point of submission projects need to be at an advanced stage of development and producers should send three copies of:
the script;
an outline production and delivery schedule;
a production budget;
a finance plan.
All submissions to arrive in hard copy marked ‘RTÉ TV DRAMAS & FEATURE FILMS FOR THE BAI’ to be submitted to Independent Productions, Stage 7, RTÉ, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 to arrive at RTÉ Goods Inwards no later than 12 noon on Friday 17th September 2010. Please note submissions will not be accepted after this time.
In the case of feature films the substantial part of the financing must be in place with director and key cast attached. The feature must be committed to go into production within 14 months of BAI committing any finance to the production.
More specific information about the kind of dramas being sought by RTÉ is available at www.rte.ie/commissioning/. Independent dramas that have been commissioned by RTÉ in the past include ‘Single-Handed’, ‘RAW’, ‘Whistleblower’ and ‘Damage’.
