National Campaign for the Arts - update on National Day of Action
The National Campaign for the Arts is proud to announce a huge series of initiatives to kick off our autumn pre-budget campaign
National Day of Action - Friday 17 September
Groups all around the country have been busy. We currently have meetings with 50 TDs confirmed. And there’s more to come. It’s not too late to arrange a meeting. See who we’re meeting here.
There will also be a series of media and public events around the country on the day. Check out www.ncfa.ie to see what’s on in your area.
Lend your support in 3 simple ways
1) Send your TD an email. We have made it super easy for you on www.ncfa.ie.
2) Email your audience members, friends, family and supporters on 17 September and ask them to support the campaign. Again the text is on the website.
3) Sign one of our ‘We believe’ postcards. Member venues of Theatre Forum should have received them in the post yesterday. If you’d like some for display or distribution, email now.
We will also have a front of house announcement recorded by Pat Shortt to be used by venues available on www.ncfa.ie from next Monday. Please use it if you can from now to Budget Day on December 7th.
Don’t forget to tweet, blog and talk about the campaign on Facebook!
We’ve days left to make an impact with the National Day of Action. The key message is - please support us and encourage others to do so too. We’ve made it as easy as possible for you to participate. Join us!
Thank you for your support.
