Nominees Announced for ZeBBie Awards

The Writers’ Guild of Ireland has announced the nominees for the ZeBBie Awards 2016

The Writers’ Guild of Ireland has announced the nominees for the ZeBBie Awards 2016 which include a number of Irish Film Board funded projects. Members of the Guild are now voting for the ‘Best Script’ in each category and voting will close on Friday 22nd April. The winner in each category will be announced at the ZeBBie Awards on Wednesday 25th May at The Sugar Club in Dublin, which will be hosted by Senator David Norris.

The nominees for Best Feature Script are Will Collins for Song of the Sea, Simon Fitzmaurice for My Name is Emily and Mark Noonan for You’re Ugly Too. The nominees for Best Short Film Script include Matthew Roche for Blight.

There are six categories of Awards (Television, Radio, Theatre, Short Film, Feature Film and Games) and three nominations in each of those categories.
