In 2008, Why The Irish Dance That Way was one of just nine films chosen by New York’s foremost contemporary arts institution the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) for inclusion in Shortfest: Outstanding Films From The International Festivals. It also won first prize at the Chicago Irish Film Festival, right around the corner from where Michael Flatley grew up! It’s received over 200,000 views on Youtube to date, and counting.
