EUROPOLY is a project in which artists document the new rules of the game since the financial crisis rattled Europe. Through films and performances, they tell the stories of how the European financial crisis has stamped our everyday lives. Committed, always subjective and very specific, it is about seeking: in supermarket checkouts, in Irish villages and Portuguese clubs. EUROPOLY looks forward. And invites everyone to butt in. In 2016, Tiger Dublin Fringe participates in EUROPOLY with two exhilarating shows – This Beach and Monday: Watch Out for the Right! – as well as a series of seven short films exploring a transforming Europe. EUROPOLY is a project of the Goethe-Instituts in Europe in cooperation with the Münchner Kammerspiele, Onassis Cultural Centre (Athens), Sirenos – Vilnius International Theatre Festival, Teatro Maria Matos (Lisbon) and Tiger Dublin Fringe. Idea, project development and management: Goethe-Institut in Lithuania.
