Interested in short films?
Got a short film to share?
Then ShortSpace is the place for you!
Hosted at Filmbase on the first Thursday of every month, ShortSpace is the place for filmmakers and film fans to get together, screen and discuss short films and short filmmaking. Each month Filmbase select a variety of short films based on a specific theme or topic, after which the filmmakers behind the shorts take part in an informal Q&A session with the audience.
ShortSpace was launched in September 2010 with a focus on making your first short film. Since then there have been a whole host of sessions on topics ranging from casting to visual effects to funding to scriptwriting. See below for information on the next session, as well as the programmes for past sessions.
If you wish to submit your short to be included in a future ShortSpace, please contact the programmer at email@example.com.
