Irish Films set for release across the US
SING STREET, THE LOBSTER and LOVE & FRIENDSHIP
Sing Street, the musical from writer and director John Carney (Once, Begin Again), went on release in the US last week and is one of three Irish films to be released in US cinemas in the coming months. The Lobster, which won the Jury prize at Cannes Film Festival last year and Sundance hit Love and Friendship will also be released in the US on May 13th.

Sing Street’, ‘How Was Your Day?’ and ‘Geist’
The Irish lineup at the SXSW lineup has grown further, with John Carney’s feature film Sing Street joining the previously announced I Am Not a Serial Killer, along with short films How Was Your Day? and Geist, all of which were funded by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board. Irish short films Ernistine & Kit directed by Simon Bird and Snowfall were also added to the lineup.
