The Indian Film Festival at Filmbase
19th – 22nd September 2014
This September the Indian Film Festival of Ireland returns with a selection of films screened at Filmbase. The annual event is the only Indian film festival across Ireland and aims to introduce people in Ireland to the global appeal and popularity of Indian cinema. The festival also aims to create an environment of collaboration between Irish and Indian film makers and to enable the making of Indian-Irish films.
Five films will be screened at Filmbase across the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting with Ghandi, a tribute to the recently deceased actor, director and producer, Richard Attenborough.
