Actors wanted for Development of Person At Risk

Monday 23rd of June 2014

Seeking 2 male and 1 female actors: playing age 25-35: Improvisational skills essential
Clinic Media are looking for three actors to join their development phase of Person At Risk this July. The development will take place in the Corcadorca Theatre Development Centre (TDC), Triskel Christchurch, Cork from the 7th to the 18th of July, 2014.

Person At Risk is a collaboration of theatre, dance, music and film to tell the story of Michael, who becomes obsessed with trying to understand why a man in his area took his own life. The further he delves the more similarities he sees with his own life, spurring Michael to prove to himself he is not a person at risk of suicide.

Building on the process created during 2013’s Talking Subtext (, Person At Risk will be directed by Eoin Ó hAnnracháin, Choreographed by Helga Deasy, with compositions by Peter Power and David Duffy from Eat My Noise, and lighting design by Eoin Winning.

Clinic Media are looking for 3 actors, and are interested in seeing males and females with a playing age between 25-35 years. Good improvisational and devising skills are essential. Experience in dance, movement and music would be beneficial.

They will be holding an audition day in Cork on Monday June 23rd 2014 between 10:00PM and 4PM, with workshop callbacks on Wednesday June 23rd from 10AM-1PM and 2PM-4PM.

The audition will be conducted by the director/producer Eoin Ó hAnnracháin.

Clinic Media asks that you prepare a contemporary monologue, preferably in your own accent, to perform in the audition. The piece should be no longer than 2-3 minutes.

The performers will be paid €600 for the 2-week development period.

Auditions are by appointment only. Please send CV and Headshot to Eoin at clinicmediacork[at] to book an audition slot. Clinic Media will accept a video audition from those based outside of Cork (no later than Friday the 20th of June 2014) but you will be required to attend the workshop call back in order to secure the part.
