Deadline for Filmbase/RTÉ Short Film Award Draws Near

Submissions for the 2014 scheme close this Friday at 5pm

Filmbase would like to remind applicants that the deadline for applications for the 2014 Filmbase/RTÉ Short Film Award is this Friday 9th May at 5pm. Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

For over 20 years Filmbase, in conjunction with RTÉ, have been running this award scheme to offer new and emerging Irish filmmakers an opportunity to make their first short films. Successful applicants will receive up to €10,000 in cash towards the production budget for their film, access to film production equipment and editing facilities from Filmbase to a matching value of €10,000, as well as advice and support for making their films.

As always, competition is intense so please make sure that you read all of the application guidelines thoroughly and have your completed application forms submitted before the 5pm deadline. Also note that you must hold a current Filmbase membership in order to apply.
