A documentary that intimately follows Nelson Mandela during the 18 months leading up to the celebration of his 90th birthday. Simon who speaks Xhosa (Bantu language related to Zulu spoken by over 7 million people), is one of the few people to come close to Mandela in recent years. Mutual respect resulted in this intimate portrayal of one of history’s most respected statesmen.
