Our very own tutor, and accomplished Filmmaker, Bob Gallagher has been nominated for not one, but two, prestigious RADAR Music Video Awards.

Two of Bob’s Girl Band collaborations are nominated for awards at this week’s RADAR Awards Ceremony, held at YouTube headquarters in London. ‘Pears for Lunch’ and ‘Paul’ which were also both featured in Stereogum’s 50 Best Music Videos of 2015, have been shortlisted from over 700 international entries to the final three in their respective categories.

Bob Gallagher is an Irish Filmmaker based in Dublin. As well as directing and producing award winning short film work, he has created a number of music videos for some of the countries most respected bands and artists, including: Saint Sister, Spies, Myles Manley, Choice Prize winner SOAK, and Rough Trade signees Girl Band.

At the end of this month, Bob will be generously taking time away from filming to teach our brand new Visual Narrative Workshop. Find our more here!
