National Film School Lecture Series Opening Event

The opening event for the new season of NFS Lectures, which began in 2004, will feature Nelson Lowry, the Supervising Production Designer for Laika.

Winner of the (US) National Society of Film Critics’ Award for Best Production Design for his work on Fantastic Mr. Fox, Nelson Lowry’s extensive credits include The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman, Corpse Bride, and Danny Boyle’s Sunshine. Nelson contributed to twenty-two episodes of The PJs, a Touchstone Pictures stop-motion animated TV series for which he won a Primetime Emmy┬« Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. He has also been nominated for several Annie Awards. This event is presented in partnership with the Dublin Animation Film Festival.

The event will be held in IADT college, Room A019, Atrium Building at 2.45pm.
